Bugs With No Home

Ok, I have been spending a decent amount of time in the Bugs With No Home area of the Ubuntu Bug list.

After reading over the Wiki: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage, I found this quick little bash command to run that will help you find the exact package.

First, find the command that used to launch the application. Usually, having the app running and doing a "ps ax" is good enough. That will show you all the processes. Look for the process you think is the right one, and you should be able to pick out the command that launched the app.

Next, run this:

dpkg -S `which COMMAND`

Obviously replace COMMAND with whatever you found from above, and you should have the exact package.
